EY is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Operations professional with expertise in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender for Office, and eShare platforms. The ideal candidate will administer, troubleshoot, and continuously improve these systems while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance our information protection posture.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration
Administer Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender for Office, and eShare to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Configure and manage security settings, policies, and policy exceptions.
Follow change‑management lifecycle; test in DEV and QA before promoting to Production and document changes in ServiceNow.
User Support
Respond to incident tickets related to security tools, ensuring resolution per SLAs.
Diagnose root causes, implement configuration changes when required, and keep users informed.
Escalate to client stakeholders as needed and maintain support documentation (KB articles, SharePoint materials).
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with IT, security, and email teams to integrate Purview, Defender, and eShare with existing systems.
Report operational status, escalations, blockers, and improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
Monitor and report on data classification usage and DLP policy hits.
Stay updated on new features and best practices for the involved platforms.
Identify process improvement opportunities and automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Python, Tines, or PowerAutomate.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate SOPs, configuration documentation, and reporting metrics.
Generate performance reports for management and keep a weekly project plan.
Team Leadership
Coordinate with an international team across multiple time zones.
Assign tasks to team members based on skillset and bandwidth, track completion, and provide updates.
Provide technical support as an SME and escalated issues to EY leadership when necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
3+ years managing and supporting Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office solutions.
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools (Tines, PowerAutomate).
ServiceNow ticket and change‑management experience.
Leadership experience with an international team across time zones.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of eShare technologies.
Experience with dashboards and metrics (Excel, PowerBI, Splunk).
Familiarity with multiple security tenants (GCCH and Commercial).
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CIPT).
