Overview
The University of Denver's Morgridge College of Education (MCE) invites applications for the position of Associate Director of Admissions. MCE's vision is to train global leaders who employ innovative and effective approaches to advance learning throughout the lifespan, educational change, and social equity. We are looking for a candidate who can lead efforts to promote MCE and recruit quality graduate level students to our programs. This is a full-time, benefitted position. Position Summary: The Associate Director of Admissions focuses on practices and processes intended to recruit, enroll, and support the student body throughout the enrollment funnel for programs in MCE. In partnership with the Assistant Dean of Enrollment and Marketing the position provides knowledge of best practices in creating and implementing enrollment management strategies. The Associate Director analyzes data trends for on-campus and online programs to create market-responsive strategies and to track effectiveness. The role reviews processes, strategies, and tactics related to recruitment and application movement, and makes recommendations on best practices. The Associate Director designs, implements, and manages e-communication campaigns throughout the admission funnel and measures the effectiveness of various communication tactics. The position ensures that prospective students receive excellent admissions support from first contact through matriculation and collaborates with departments to implement best practices in enrollment. The role maintains relationships with MCE colleagues and with the University Office of Graduate Education and other areas across campus. The Associate Director may take on other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Enrollment and Marketing. Responsibilities
Manage the recruitment, application review and enrollment process for MCE programs. Develop and implement full e-communication campaigns spanning the entire admissions funnel from inquiry to matriculation for each graduate program and for MCE. In partnership with the Assistant Dean of Enrollment and Marketing, the Office of Budget and Planning and the Department Chairs develop enrollment projections, policies and protocols. Ensure effective advising and correspondence with MCE applicants in all departments and/or route queries to the appropriate MCE admissions staff member. Manage annual college admissions requirements update process. Manage and participate in recruitment events and enrollment activities. Advise on university admissions policies and procedures. Guide and strategically plan the allocation of resources to attract and retain an applicant pool. Serve as project manager for recruitment projects across the college, such as creation of recruitment collateral, strategic content creation and refreshes, applicant and incoming student communications, and other recruitment/yield initiatives. Serve as main point of contact and college expert for MCE faculty and staff regarding training, permissions, and reporting within the CRM system (Slate). Represent MCE to various constituencies on campus, including members of the 2U partnership and the Office of Graduate Education. Collaborate on the financial aid and scholarship process. Understand past and present enrollment trends to inform initiatives. Serve as the main point of contact for other offices regarding CRM processes and development. Contribute to campus-wide Slate Users Group and ensure training and access for faculty and staff in MCE. Strategy
Identify, recommend and implement process improvements as needed. Provide input and ideas to expand recruiting opportunities. Work with departments to implement best practices to track correspondence and measure outcomes. Acquire knowledge of industry practices to evaluate and recommend new ways to attract/retain prospects. Understand target audiences to assist in effective development of recruitment initiatives. Management
Supervise two full-time admissions staff and possibly a Graduate Assistant. Interview, hire, train, assign and review work, develop performance goals and assess performance for direct reports. Provide direction and respond to questions from direct reports. Ensure direct reports communicate with prospective students with excellent customer service. Manage and approve work schedules to ensure proper coverage for daily tasks and projects. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to analyze and interpret data and present information. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to take initiative and work independently and in a team. Proficiency in Slate CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and other databases/CRM systems. Ability to anticipate problems and develop solutions. Excellent organization and project management skills. Ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with others across levels. An eye for design and creative thinking. Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple assignments with professionalism and deadlines. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations with cross-cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree 4-5 years of experience in higher education, admissions, student affairs, or related fields Admissions experience in a college/university or equivalent setting Experience working with Slate or similar CRM Experience and commitment to working with a variety of populations Preferred Qualifications
Master\'s degree or graduate coursework Background/education in P-20 education or related social sciences Familiarity with degree programs offered in MCE Supervisory or management experience Project management experience Knowledge of graduate enrollment management best practices Working Environment
Standard office environment. Occasional interruptions and moderate to high stress. Noise level is quiet to moderate. Physical Activities
