WTS Paradigm, LLC
Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Principal Software Architect – Front End to be part of revolutionizing these industries.
In this role, you will lead front-end architecture for customer-facing web and mobile platforms with responsibility for complete solution design from user experience through backend integration. You will drive architectural decisions that balance modern front-end capabilities with enterprise‑scale system requirements.
What You Will Do
Own front-end architecture strategy across web (React) and mobile (React Native) platforms, designing solutions that span UI layer through API contracts and data flows. Design patterns for AI‑powered user experiences including conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations, and adaptive UIs. Lead complete solution design for customer‑facing initiatives, ensuring front‑end architecture aligns with broader system design, security, and performance requirements. Design integration patterns between front‑end applications and backend services, APIs, and enterprise systems. Establish front‑end architectural standards, component libraries, and development patterns while maintaining holistic view of end‑to‑end solution quality. Participate in cross‑functional architecture reviews, representing front‑end perspective within broader solution design discussions. Evaluate and guide technology selection for front‑end tooling, frameworks, state management, and performance optimization. Mentor engineering teams on modern front‑end practices within context of complete solution delivery. What You Need to Succeed
10+ years software development with 6+ years in architectural leadership roles (subject or people leadership). Deep expertise in React and React Native with production applications at scale. Proven experience designing complete solutions, not just front‑end layers—must understand APIs, data architecture, security, and integration patterns. Track record collaborating on full‑stack solution design while owning front‑end domain. Experience with architectural governance, technical documentation, and cross‑team design reviews. Excellent communication skills for articulating front‑end decisions within broader architectural context.
