Our Education Consultant meets with every family to develop a personalized academic plan—so you’ll know exactly what each student needs to succeed.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions focused on
reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary .
Teach
critical reading and argumentation skills , helping students analyze texts, identify evidence, and form logical arguments.
Help students improve
communication and speaking skills , including oral presentations, discussions, and confidence in expressing ideas clearly.
Assess students’ strengths and areas for growth to create
individualized lesson plans
for elementary, middle, and high school students.
Guide students in
essay writing, literary analysis, and critical thinking .
Monitor and share progress with parents/guardians regularly.
Collaborate with parents and teachers to align tutoring goals with classroom expectations.
Use diverse teaching strategies and materials (literature, writing prompts, digital tools, etc.) to keep sessions
engaging
and effective.
Create a positive, motivating environment that builds students’ confidence and love for learning.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational or tutoring setting.
Strong command of
English grammar, writing, and reading comprehension .
Ability to teach
critical reading, argumentation, and communication skills
effectively.
Experience with students with special education needs is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan engaging, student-centered lessons.
Relevant degree or teaching certification preferred.

up to $23/hr, or up to $30/hr for certified teachers.
