Grain Trader
to join their team in Chicago. This role offers the opportunity to manage trading and execution activities across multiple commodities in the USA, while contributing to international market growth and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and manage physical grain trades (corn, soybeans, wheat) across domestic and export markets
Oversee contract execution, shipping, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Maintain compliance with trade policies and manage risk exposure effectively
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners
Monitor market developments, analyze trends, and identify new commercial opportunities
Qualifications
Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in grain trading, execution, or supply chain management within the U.S. grain market
Proven background in handling international trade contracts and managing commercial risk
Strong knowledge of U.S. and global grain markets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Fluency in English required; additional language skills a plus
