Open‑Rank Faculty Position in Neuromodulation for Psychiatry
We are seeking open‑rank faculty to support research and teaching in neuromodulation and interventional psychiatry at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC), Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Responsibilities
Conduct clinician‑research programs focused on evidence‑based neuromodulation treatments for mood disorders, addiction, and related conditions. Secure and manage external research funding, and develop or lead clinical, educational, and research initiatives. Teach graduate and medical students, residents, postdoctoral fellows and interns; mentor junior faculty and trainees. Contribute to the multi‑disciplinary Mood and Anxiety or Addiction programs within the department. Qualifications
Advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent) with specialization in psychiatry or clinical psychology. Clinical licensure in Ohio by appointment date (or eligibility/intent to obtain). Track record of external funding and publications in neuromodulation, transcranial magnetic stimulation, low‑frequency ultrasound, ketamine, psilocybin, or other emerging techniques. Experience evaluating mechanisms, moderators, functional outcomes, cost‑effectiveness, and treatment satisfaction. Ability to mentor, train, and collaborate across clinical and research teams.
