Overview
Position Summary: The Assistant Track Supervisor is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and ensuring the safety and integrity of railroad track and related infrastructure. This position supports the Track Supervisor in overseeing track operations, identifying defects, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards. Location: Dania, FL Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Examine railroad tracks, turnouts, road crossings, and related infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Identify and document defects, irregularities, and areas requiring maintenance or repair. Schedule and coordinate necessary track maintenance and repair activities. Ensure compliance with
FRA Track Safety Standards, Part 213 (Subparts A–F and G) . Inspect, maintain, repair, and construct track in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and instructions. Operate a
high-rail vehicle
safely and efficiently. Prepare and input required inspection reports, maintenance records, and documentation accurately and timely. Assist in supervising track maintenance crews and ensuring adherence to safety procedures and work standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and other departments to coordinate track activities and minimize service disruptions. Qualifications

Track Safety Standards
knowledge (Part 213, Subparts A–F and G) required. Must hold
A & B qualifications
for track inspection. Valid
driver’s license
required. Experience in track inspection, maintenance, and construction preferred. Ability to operate high-rail vehicles and other track maintenance equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Proficient in completing and submitting digital and written reports. Working Conditions: Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions. May require working irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
