Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Oracle Database technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise Oracle environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and seamless integration across business applications and middleware platforms.

Key Responsibilities Database Administration & Support

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (on‑prem or cloud) across development, test, and production environments.

Perform database upgrades, patches, migrations, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.

Monitor database health, resource usage, and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal database performance and uptime.

Oracle Fusion & Middleware Management

Administer and support Oracle Fusion Middleware components, including SOA Suite, ODI, OBIEE/OAS, OID/OAM, and other Fusion Middleware products.

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server domains, clusters, managed servers, and deployments.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Fusion Middleware applications and integrations.

System Integration & Application Support

Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and business teams to support system integrations and database‑related requirements.

Manage deployments, configuration changes, and environment refreshes for Fusion and WebLogic applications.

Support automation, scripting, and DevOps initiatives to streamline administration tasks.

Security, Compliance & Documentation

Implement and maintain database security, access control, encryption, and auditing in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.

Ensure compliance with data governance, backup/restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and knowledge base articles.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of hands‑on experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.

Demonstrated expertise with Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic Server administration.

Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, OEM, and RMAN.

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux shell scripting, and job automation.

Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across database and middleware layers.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud‑based Oracle environments (OCI, AWS, Azure).

Knowledge of integration tools such as SOA Suite, OSB, ODI, OIC.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and ITIL processes.

Oracle certifications (OCP, OCA, OCM, or Fusion Middleware certifications).

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
