Job Description Mechanical Engineer required to work in a varied and technically challenging role. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a global reputation during a busy period of growth. Candidates will need to be a mechanical engineer with experience working in a technical assembly/machine fitting position. You will hold a relevant mechanical qualification and will have experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, hand tools and power tools. Working in a team of 5-6 people, the successful Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for building and assembling special purpose machinery based from engineering drawings.
Role Responsibilities
Building and assembling special purpose machinery
Working from engineering drawings
Using hand and power tools
Fitting bearings, taper lock pulleys and gears
Working with hydraulic and pneumatic pipework
Quality checks
Candidate Profile
Experienced mechanical fitter / engineer
Hold a mechanical engineering qualification
Experience using hand and power tools
