Job Summary: Iten Industries' Shipping and Receiving verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with and follow work instructions from the Shipping Manager.
Loads/unloads freight from trucks.
Moves material from shipping area to inventory bins.
Visual inspection of product before final approval to ship out or place in inventory.
Operation of scales for weighing material/product.
Packaging of items for shipment.
Tracking of inventory.
Prepares/creates documents (i.e. pre-shippers, packing lists, return papers, bills of lading, etc.) for outgoing shipments.
Other duties to be assigned.
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of shipping/receiving experience.
Clean driving record.
Strong administrative, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Proficient computer skills (MS Office) and understanding of MRP systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional presence and demeanor.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (including marijuana).
Will need to be able to pass a D.O.T physical.
