Required Skills
Provide care as an extension of the Family Medicine MD through clinic appointments, including:
Physicals, PHASEs, Wellness Visits (WWE), routine care, sick visits, urgent care, and post‑hospital discharge follow‑ups
Collaborate closely with the Family Medicine MD and Internal Medicine team to ensure high‑quality patient care
Coordinate care and referrals with specialists across the PIH Health network using a unified EMR system
Educate patients on disease prevention, health management, and wellness strategies
Manage a full patient caseload independently while maintaining strong communication with the care team
Apply expertise in primary care, family medicine, and women’s health for patients of all ages
Demonstrate effective teamwork in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
Required Experience
Current California Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
Graduate of an accredited Family Medicine NP/PA Master’s program
Minimum of 3 years previous experience in Family Medicine
Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Evidence of continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure
Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish or Korean
