Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using thorough assessments and observational methods. Craft tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing both immediate objectives and long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing difficulties. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families, and caregivers to devise cohesive care strategies. Provide education and resources for patients and their families to nurture continuity of care beyond clinical sessions. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring each patient's journey is seamless. Maintain up-to-date documentation that aligns with all state, federal, and organizational policies. Engage in ongoing learning to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through both formal education and peer collaboration. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required unless already ASHA-certified. Certifications

Current state licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills

Expertise in evidence-based practices for patients of all ages, supported by a solid understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to connect with patients, families, and various interdisciplinary team members. Ability to customize therapy approaches to respect and accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Exceptional clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
