Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Developer
to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and digital experience platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
AEM 6.4 or newer versions , strong Java development skills, and hands-on experience integrating Adobe solutions such as
Target
and
Analytics . This role requires a solid understanding of AEM architecture, workflows, UI customization, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
AEM Development & Customization
Develop, configure, and maintain
AEM components, templates, workflows, and OSGi bundles . Work extensively with
Sling servlets ,
Sightly (HTL) , and
Sling Models . Implement
custom workflows , content fragments, and
RESTful integrations
with third-party systems. Customize
Coral/Granite UI
and extend AEM core functionalities such as
Launches . Utilize
Lucene indexing
and caching strategies for enhanced search and performance. Integration & Performance
Integrate AEM with
Adobe Target ,
Analytics , and other marketing technology platforms. Develop and consume
Web Services (REST/SOAP)
and handle data exchange via
XML, JSON, HTTP, SSL, and TCP/IP . Implement caching solutions and perform
application performance tuning . Security & Access Control
Apply a deep understanding of
AEM security models , user/group permissions, and
Access Control Lists (ACLs) . Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and best practices. Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with
Project Managers, UX/UI teams, and QA engineers
to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Participate in
code reviews , peer collaboration, and Agile ceremonies. Prepare detailed
technical documentation
and process explanations. DevOps & Continuous Integration
Utilize CI/CD tools such as
Jenkins, Hudson, Maven , and
Selenium
for automated builds, deployments, and testing. Support version control and deployment best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum
5 years
working on
AEM projects (6.4 or newer) . Adobe Stack Expertise:
Familiarity with
Adobe Target ,
Analytics , and other Adobe Marketing Cloud products. Technical Proficiency:
Strong
Java/J2EE
foundation. Proficiency with
Sling ,
OSGi ,
JCR ,
Dispatcher , and
AEM core components . Hands-on with
Sightly (HTL) ,
Sling Models ,
REST ,
JSON ,
Lucene , and
UI customization .
Frontend Experience:
Exposure to
Coral/Granite UI , and
SPA templating
using frameworks like
React
or
Angular
is a plus. CI/CD Tools:
