Our client, Food Industry, is seeking a Warehouse Group Leader to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good communications skills and computer skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title-Warehouse Group Leader
Location Moonachie, NJ
Shift-Morning Shift-Monday to Friday-8 am to 4.30 pm
Pay range $19-22 per hour
Summary of Position
The
Warehouse Group Leader
is responsible for the proper handling, processing, and management of inventory within the warehouse during the assigned shift. This role includes assigning tasks to other warehouse personnel, receiving and shipping goods, and maintaining seamless warehouse operations. The Group Leader ensures compliance with all legal, food safety, GMP, and company safety procedures while overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, documentation, and loading/unloading activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising the entire warehouse team and ensuring accurate processing of orders.
Coordinating the loading of freight and products, verifying invoices, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Monitoring equipment functionality and reporting discrepancies.
Completing forklift and material handling requirements while adhering to the
NO DAMAGED PRODUCT
policy.
Maintaining FIFO (First In, First Out) standards and ensuring all goods meet quality and safety requirements.
Using SAP (Warehouse Application) and other systems for inventory management and reporting.
Assisting with picking, delivering, and staging products as needed.
