Stand-Up Forklift and Cherry Picker Operator - Roselle, IL
1st shift - 6am-2:30pm

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Forklift/Order Picker who will be responsible for accurately picking orders for shipment. You will operate a stand-up forklift and utilize an RF scanner to fulfill customer specifications. The role involves verifying shipping counts and potentially repacking parts for shipment via UPS or FedEx Ground.
Responsibilities
Pick orders to be shipped accurately and efficiently.
Operate stand-up forklifts safely.
Use an RF scanner to locate and track inventory.
Follow picking sheets and walk to assigned locations.
Build orders according to customer specifications.
Palletize and wrap orders securely.
Verify shipping counts to ensure accuracy.
Repack parts into minimal boxes for shipment as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience with stand-up forklifts and reach trucks.
Proficiency in reading and following basic schematics.
Strong attention to detail in all tasks.
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Capability to work on feet for 8-hour shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous order picking experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills are beneficial.
No degree is required for this position.

Work Environment
The job is based in a modern assembly warehouse that assembles water softeners and filters for various industries, including residential and commercial sectors. The work hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The environment is very clean, and the company provides a supportive culture. You will perform assembly of small sub-assemblies for filters by hand and using basic hand tools. Material handling duties and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs are required. Proficiency in English is necessary.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
