Within the spirit of Making People's Dreams Come True, this position is responsible for using creativity and design expertise to create concepts, illustrations and graphics that best meet outlined marketing campaign goals and objectives. This role works closely under the direction, guidance, and supervision of Sr. Graphic Designer(s) and/or Art Director(s) to ensure end products are in alignment with brand standards and on-going client requests. This behind-the-scenes position works with a variety of marketing mediums to include newspaper, radio, television, internet, and print composing such things as mailings, ads, newsletters, signage, and collateral materials for both print and e-marketing platforms. This role's project management abilities, organization skills and attention to detail allows for seeing design initiatives through from composition to final proof and into production through collaborative efforts with fellow teammates; meeting given timelines. This position is a fundamental part of the Marketing Team. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
Create designs, concepts and arrangements based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
Execute creative tasks and design projects.
Prepare designs from conception to completion with finished copy and art.
Collaborate with Art Director(s)/Sr. Graphic Designer(s) and Creative Team to define assets, information, copy, etc. included in finished pieces.
Design initial layouts of art and copy arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts based on branded guidelines.
Compose mailings, ads, newsletters, collateral materials and more to meet campaign and/or account goals and objectives.
Obtain approval of concepts by submitting initial layouts to Sr. Graphic Designer(s) and/or Art Director(s) for review, direction, input, and guidance.
Make suggested changes from Art Director(s)/Sr. Graphic Designer(s) and prepare final pieces for production.
Mark up, paste and assemble final layouts in preparation for Production Team delivery.
Submit finished pieces to Art Director(s)/Sr. Graphic Designer(s) for return workflow back to Account Managers and clients.
Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. when applicable.
Participate in continuing education to include attending workshops, reading publications, and learning new concepts in design and job-related software and tools to stay current and up to date in the industry.
Attend special team meetings, educational sessions and assists leadership in ongoing training of team members as asked.
Utilize office computer and office equipment (copier, fax, etc.) along with a host of other software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator and adobe Creative Cloud and subsequent project management and related technology and design tools.
Assist the Marketing Team in their overall initiatives as requested, contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as called upon.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or two (4) years related graphic design experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience or education working in print graphic design and/or newsprint industry is preferred.
Must have a strong understanding of the print production process to design and prepare files that print, fold, trim and bind correctly.
This position requires a strong working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud, and the Microsoft Office Suite to include excel and outlook.
Excellent time management and organizational skills a must.
