Job Summary:
Performs system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations. Identifies and resolves issues in various functional areas; breakdown, put away, replenishment, QC, staging, loading, shipping. Monitors and maintains SKUs and locations in WMS to support efficient warehouse processing and maximize warehouse space usage. Performs work under the direction of warehouse lead, supervisor or manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
50 % Pick orders by sorting labels; pulling material; wrapping material; packing boxes; stacking pallets; placing orders in delivery area while inspecting items for defects and/or damages. Scan pallets and load trucks for outbound delivery.
30% Receive vendor trucks, check for damages, label material, store incoming shipments, rotate stock, and organize warehouse space following company procedures.
10% Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallets, equipment and floors neat.
5% Cycle count stock and process inventory counts timely.
5% Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of three years' experience in warehouse environment Three years experience operating warehouse equipment (ex: forklift, order picker, pallet jacks, boom clamp) Perform tasks with a high level of detail and accuracy (ex: apply shipping labels, picking material, cycle counting, receiving) Must possess proficient math, writing, reading and computer skills Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external contacts at various levels Able to lift bags and boxes weighing 50lbs to 75lbs Must be dependable and able to work in a team environment
Education Requirement:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
Shift 4:00am to 1:00pm
