Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal EVMS Surveillance Analyst to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems division. The role is based in Roy, UT and will analyze and ensure compliance of major suppliers for the Sentinel program.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform independent analysis of Sentinel suppliers’ IPMDAR to document quality issues.
Coordinate and conduct EVMS surveillance events (significant travel) to assess supplier compliance and issue findings or actions.
Work with suppliers to root‑cause and correct findings from surveillance events.
Brief results of surveillance events to leadership and SMT stakeholders.
Coordinate and drive supplier IBRs to completion.
Build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external customers.
Mentor and train junior level analysts.
Partner with leadership to translate organizational objectives and strategies into program level tactics.
Maintain compliance with all NGC policies, internal controls, and disclosed practices.
Basic Qualifications
U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a master’s; or 9 years of experience may be accepted with an HS diploma in lieu of a degree.
Experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, VBA and/or Macros).
Experience with EVMS software (SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One, IWO, Primavera P6).
Minimum 3 years of experience with Earned Value Management principles and applying EVM techniques in an aerospace & defense environment.
Availability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
MBA or master’s degree in a business‑related field.
Experience in accounting, finance, business administration, program cost analysis or program scheduling.
Experience working in Deltek Cobra.
Strong analytical ability.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills.
