Job Summary The Inside Sales Associate/Back‑up Driver will act as a Sales Associate for the retail store by selling products to businesses and industrial customers. The associate will also fill in as a backup driver when needed.

HazMat preferred (60‑day period to obtain for right candidate)
Monday – Friday, start time 7 am – Home daily
Benefits eligibility: 30 days
Possible weekends (on call)
Responsibilities
Sell industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment to customers.
Assist customers through email, telephone, and walk‑ins.
Solicit sales from new and existing customers, managing associated paperwork for future reference.
Assist customers with loading/unloading cylinders and provide guidance on equipment use and needed materials.
Monitor and maintain proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to minimize emergencies.
Manage accounts receivable, discussing past‑due accounts and collecting payments.
Ensure accurate completion of paperwork, including coding, costing, and pricing.
Act as backup driver when necessary.
Operate equipment like forklifts as required.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Class A CDL.
Must have HAZMAT endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 60 days of being hired.
Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to >100 lbs.
Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
Ability to maintain a drug‑free workplace.
Adherence to safety regulations and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Forklift experience.
Touch freight delivery experience.
