Strength Engineer – Bartech Staffing
Contract position with a leading engineering staffing firm.
Base pay range $48.00/hr – $50.00/hr
Job Responsibilities
Develop strength and durability performance of vehicle frame, body, and chassis (suspension, axle, bushings) through prediction, evaluation, and analysis
Prediction: Analytical (hand calculation, design review) and CAE (FEA, MBD, other simulations) methods
Evaluation: Vehicle input load measurements and bench tests (static and fatigue), collaborating with technician team members
Analysis: Data organization and visualization to extract trends, fatigue life calculation, failure analysis, etc.
Solve problems and develop countermeasures to achieve strength and durability performance targets according to vehicle development schedule.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
2 years of experience working as an engineer (incl. industry co‑op/internship, SAE project team leader, etc.)
Completed academic coursework in solid mechanics engineering (strength of materials, stress/strain/deflection, static and fatigue failure theories, structures and joining, vibrations) and system dynamics

Employment Details Successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our client. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US and be able to start immediately.
