Key Responsibilities
Own the strategy and execution of high‑impact events end‑to‑end, ensuring every pre‑, during, and post‑event activity is completed effectively.
Pre‑Event (Planning & Strategy)
Develop event strategy aligned with marketing, demand generation, and sales goals.
Define objectives, success metrics, and budget for each event.
Create project plans with milestones, owners, and delivery dates.
Manage vendor selection, venue, booths, production partners, and logistics.
Coordinate pre‑event marketing, landing pages, registration, email campaigns, social media, and paid media.
Align with stakeholders (sales, product, partners) to set messaging and speaking opportunities.
Coordinate executive/VIP involvement and partner participation.
During Event (Execution & Experience)
Oversee on‑site operations: booth setup, staffing, logistics, and troubleshooting.
Ensure brand consistency and manage attendee experience, registration, networking activations, and content capture.
Capture data: leads, contacts, surveys, and lead retrieval systems.
Promote onsite activities across social media and partner channels.
Post‑Event (Follow‑up & Optimization)
Lead follow‑up strategy, nurture campaigns, and integration with wider marketing.
Analyze event performance: track KPIs, compare to targets, and report to stakeholders.
Capture learnings, run debriefs, and repurpose content across channels.
Maintain event roadmap and future event planning.
Strategic & Cross‑Functional Duties
Measure pipeline and revenue contributions using data and analytics.
Ensure brand messaging consistency across all events.
Develop reusable frameworks, templates, playbooks, and tools for efficiency.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Stay current with industry trends and recommend innovations.
Qualifications
5+ years of event marketing/event planning in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity, including large‑scale trade shows and partner events.
Demonstrated ability to manage events end‑to‑end (pre, during, post).
Strong project management skills: manage multiple events in parallel, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills.
Strategic thinker (defining ROI) and tactical executor (handling details).
Budget management experience and vendor negotiation skills.
Data‑driven mindset: define, track, and report KPIs; use data to optimize.
Experience with event management tools (lead retrieval, registration, marketing automation, CRM).
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred
Prior experience in cybersecurity or a technical domain.
Experience with executive or VIP white‑glove events.
Experience with partner‑led and channel events.
Ability to travel 20–40% as needed.
Hands‑on skills with event tools and familiarity with content creation, booth design, signage.

Compensation & Benefits The wage range for this position is $82,000–$144,000. Base compensation may include an annual bonus or sales incentive based on revenue or utilization. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) with company match, short‑term and long‑term disability, basic life insurance, stock awards, and a company stock purchasing plan.
Location Kansas City, MO (Remote options available).
