Territory Manager – Electronics Materials Regional Sales Manager (West Region) We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead discussions with Design Teams, Channel Partners, and Manufacturers Representatives in generating incremental sales of 3M Electronic Assembly Solutions. This role requires a results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, technical sales environment and has experience working closely with Engineering Contacts to exceed Division Sales Targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership:

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Provide product training, target account identification and ongoing support to the many internal and external channel partners to improve their performance.

Manage and motivate a network of third-party sales agents (Manufacturers' Representatives) to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Customer Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products and capabilities.

Channel Partner Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with 3M Converter Partners, Regional Industrial Distributors, Electronics Distributors and others to ensure effective collaboration and maximize market coverage.

Support the development of joint business plans with channel partners, including promotional strategies, inventory management, and sales initiatives.

Market Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including emerging markets, industry trends, and potential customers.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product management, to develop and implement strategies for market penetration.

Analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to adapt strategies and recommend new products or services.

Reporting and Analysis:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management in Salesforce.com.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.

Five (5) years of sales experience, in a private, public, government or military environment.

Current, valid Driver's License.

Additional Qualifications

Experience articulating value propositions and system-selling.

Understanding of manufacturing processes.

Experience developing and managing key accounts.

Product demonstration experience and competence.

Strong track record of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.

Salesforce.com experience is preferred.

Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Work Location Remote California – Bay Area

Travel Up to 50% travel.
