Advanced CNC Technician - Mazak Controller
Rusco Manufacturing is seeking an Advanced CNC Technician to join our precision engineering team. The role involves programming and operating Mazak CNC machines, maintaining machine setup, and ensuring component tolerances.
Salary Range $22.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Responsibilities
Expertly preparing machine setups, calibrating tool registers, and pioneering adjustment of offsets.
Installing machine fixtures and instigating accurate first‑piece testing.
Monitoring operational integrity, identifying potential malfunctions, and implementing necessary modifications.
Coding from schematics using sophisticated Mazatrol or G‑code.
Working extensively with Mazatrol T‑32, T+, Fusion, Matrix, and Smooth Controls.
Verifying component dimensions and finishes to ensure print compliance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
3‑5 years of CNC machining experience, preferably with multi‑axis lathes.
Strong knowledge of G‑code, M‑code, and PLC programming.
Experience troubleshooting and programming Mazak controllers.
Skilled in using CAM software such as Mastercam and Mastercam, or equivalent.
Familiarity with GD&T and precision machining tolerances.
