Description
The role of the Event Specialist Member responsible for set up, operation and teardown of events safely at a facility in Thermal, CA.
Responsibilities
Program set-up, tear-down
Set-up, tear-down and cleaning of equipment, including any props and components that are particular to individual events
Assists with cleaning event and support vehicles (May include detailing interior, exterior, and sometimes the engine compartment, based on the given event)
Course set up, maintenance, and change-over.
Vehicle placement
Safety management
Maintains program supplies, radios, program vehicles needed, along with assisting with interior classroom set up and breakdown, as needed
Maintains a clean, orderly work area always to reduce the risk of incidents / accidents and promote a quality work ethic
Paperwork is completed accurately and is submitted on time to appropriate EventLink / facility departments / management. This includes, but is not limited to, expense reports, log sheets, inventories, etc.
Adheres to all policies as outlined in the Employee handbook, including all safety policies, and amended rules and regulations, such as the Hands-Free Cell Phone Policy
Performs specific job assignments and responsibilities as directed by Lead Logistics and Lead Instructor professionally and efficiently
Performs other duties as required
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Skills
Strong communication skills; corresponds via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner
Acute attention to detail
Works well with others in a group setting and can contribute as a team member
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Schedule
Must have a flexible schedule
