Infant Toddler Child Care Lead Teacher – Spring Education Group
Join the Spring Education Group Early Childhood Education Division, with nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre‑K/K programs, summer camp and after‑school programs. Our diverse pedagogical approaches include proprietary Links to Learning curriculum, Montessori methods (AMI and AMS), and progressive language immersion programs in Mandarin and Spanish.
Summary As a Preschool Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, you will create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. You will collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote the well‑being of the school, its staff, and its students.
Responsibilities
Positively influence peers to work toward and meet the school’s vision of excellence; maintain quality education programs and ensure successful implementation of approved curriculum.
Prioritize a safe, clean, and attractive learning environment; maintain compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements and all applicable state and federal laws.
Develop life‑long learners, genuinely care about children, and possess sensitivity and knowledge to understand a child’s individual needs while fostering an inclusive classroom.
Work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and administrators; develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with families, students, and the school community.
Minimum Qualifications
Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is required.
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to carry and lift 25 pounds or less for 25–50% of the time, and occasionally 25–50 pounds for 10–25% of the time.
