Compensation range for this position is $60,000.00 – $100,000.00.
Position Details The Research Coordinator, Ruminant is an integral part of our Research and Development team based at our US – Mendon, IL (Remote) site.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all activities, including resources, facilities, timelines and budgets, related to the preparation and execution of scientific protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all research activities, including protocols, regulatory documents and research data.
Oversee and design data collection tools, train personnel and ensure data quality and integrity.
Provide daily care and husbandry for laboratory animals, including feeding, cleaning and monitoring animal health.
Administer treatments as directed by research protocols or veterinarians.
Monitor animals during experiments, record observations and report any abnormalities.
Follow GCP guidelines for all research studies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Animal Science, Biology, Veterinary, etc.)
3 years of experience in farm and animal health management, preferably in a research or commercial setting.
Knowledge of animal husbandry, animal health, and implementation of good clinical practice.
Proficiency in data collection and reporting using relevant software/tools.
Physical Requirements
Operation of laboratory equipment.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Required to bend frequently, sit frequently, stand frequently, walk frequently.
Required to talk or hear constantly, use hands constantly.
Specific vision abilities: adjust focus, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision.
