Outside Sales Account Manager – Amarillo, TX
Location: Amarillo Branch, TX – Retail shop

Compensation and Benefits
Base pay plus commission (70/30)
Monthly auto allowance
Travel within assigned territory, minimal overnights

Responsibilities
Manage the sales process and drive profitable sales growth within the assigned sales territory for both existing and new Airgas customers.
Meet and exceed corporate and regional objectives for profitable sales growth, A/R management, and customer retention.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Proven success using a consultative sales approach to provide multiple layers of value and establish a mix of sales solutions and products.
Deep knowledge of customers' business, macro and microeconomic trends, industry trends, and new business opportunities.
Excellent organizational, written, oral communication, and presentation skills utilizing current technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, industrial gas / welding supply sales.
Self‑starter, self‑motivated, operates with a sense of urgency, able to work independently.
Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and minimum liability insurance as required by state.
Minimum 3 years of prior outside B2B sales experience, with proven success in solution‑selling concepts and managing customers throughout a defined territory.
