Americ Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is hiring a skilled Diesel Technician in Fargo, North Dakota.
About the Role The Diesel Tech works Monday through Friday, 5 am to 1 pm. The position focuses on timely repair and maintenance of medium‑to‑heavy‑duty fleet vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare vehicle records and report manually and electronically.
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on medium‑to‑heavy‑duty vehicles.
Conduct safety inspections of equipment and document findings.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Inspect and work on the underparts of vehicles.
Move and install parts at the job site.
Communicate with clients via email or phone as needed.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience performing vehicle maintenance or planned maintenance on diesel vehicles.
Must provide own hand tools and toolbox.
Knowledge of hand‑held scan tools and vehicle diagnostic processes.
Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, fleet management systems, email).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay, $33.00–$40.00 per hour (DOE).
Paid weekly, every Friday.
Up to $3,000.00 sign‑on bonus.
