Human Resources Manager at Willoughby Industries, Inc.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining and reconciling accounts, including bank accounts and accounts payable/receivable.
Preparing and posting journal entries.
Recording transactions and ensuring the general ledger is accurate and up-to-date.
Assisting with both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
Assisting with the preparation and filing of various tax returns and other regulatory reports.
Processing employee expense reports and reimbursements.
Recommending ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, accounting software and ERP systems.
Ensuring all financial activities and records comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulations.
Supporting the development of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
Month‑end and year‑end closing processes:
Preparing and reviewing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
Must be highly proficient or expert in Excel.
Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of US tax regulations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
2–5 years verifiable Accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Fixed asset experience a plus.
ERP Software experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Will be asked to spend a minimal amount of time in the manufacturing plant.
Manufacturing plant has high level of noise.
Must submit to pre‑employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Require minimal supervision to complete work and meet production deadlines.
