Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is a growing, innovative organization located in Lower Queen Anne, Washington. The position involves general landscaping duties across multiple sites.
Job Summary Perform general groundskeeping, operate power equipment, install and maintain sprinkler systems, and maintain grounds equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate power equipment such as riding lawn mowers, push lawn mowers, blowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, edgers, sod cutters, and lawn aerators.
Mow, trim, weed, and water grass, flowers, and shrubbery.
Trim trees from the ground level, remove leaves and branches.
Install and maintain automatic ground sprinkler systems.
Wash and maintain grounds equipment.
Remove trash from facilities and grounds.
Install and replace landscaping, apply fertilizer and pesticides.
Qualifications
Experience performing general groundskeeping or manual work involving construction or maintenance.
Ability to operate power equipment and perform hands‑on tasks safely.
Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
