Responsibilities
Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
Provides counseling and education to patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and care.
About Ascension Via Christi Hospital Manhattan Looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health Team at Ascension Via Christi Manhattan's Occupational Health Clinic on Seth Child Blvd. Provide occupational health services to the Manhattan community and, as needed, to NBAF employees, researchers, maintenance and animal handlers.

Requirements / Eligibility
BLS Provider obtained within one month of hire date.
Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within three months of hire date.
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Master's degree preferred.
One year of experience preferred.
Additional preferences: #APP.
