About the Position The Marketing Specialist supports the planning, execution, and management of marketing initiatives that promote the Score Sports brand, products, and partnerships. This role plays a key part in developing engaging content, coordinating event activations, and amplifying Score Sports’ presence across social and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong organizational skills, able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and represent the brand professionally both online and in person.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in sports, apparel, or consumer goods industries.

Strong content creation skills (photography, videography, copywriting, or social media management).

Proficiency with social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google Analytics).

Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Willingness to travel for events, shoots, and activations (approximately 20–30% of the time).

Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.

Strong storytelling and content creation background (writing, social, digital campaigns).

Comfortable collaborating across sales, partnerships, product, and operations teams.

Knowledge of sports culture (especially youth and grassroots sports) is a big plus.

Entrepreneurial mindset — scrappy, decisive, and unafraid to build from zero.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Key Responsibilities Event Marketing & Brand Representation

Support the planning, coordination, and on‑site execution of sponsored events, product launches, and brand activations.

Capture real‑time social media content during events to drive engagement and visibility.

Assist with event setup, logistics, and promotional materials as needed.

Travel as required to support events, photo / video shoots, and marketing activations.

Serve as a brand ambassador, maintaining a professional and positive image of Score Sports.

Leverage SCORE’s existing partnerships as marketing channels to best support the sales team in‑market.

Social Media, Digital Support & Content Creation

Manage social media coverage for events, partnerships, and campaigns.

Monitor trends, engagement, and analytics to optimize content strategy as well as responding to comments, DMs, and mentions to build authentic community relationships.

Collaborate with internal departments to promote company initiatives and product releases.

Identify and engage with partner, athlete, and league content for amplification.

Track trends and adapt content to stay culturally relevant in youth sports.

Develop engaging multimedia content (photos, videos, copy) for social media, digital campaigns, and marketing materials (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand consistency and high‑quality output.

Plan, create, and publish content across SCORE’s owned channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook).

Produce short‑form videos, graphics, and copy that align with SCORE’s brand voice using CapCut, Adobe Premier, or similar.

Capture content at events, partner activations, and photoshoots

Project Coordination

Assist in managing timelines, vendors, and creative deliverables for marketing campaigns.

Support cross‑functional collaboration between marketing, sales, and product teams.

Base Salary $71,000 - $86,000 (depending on experience)

Location This position could be located in the SCORE Sports office in Irvine, CA or NYC Office
