The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's communication operations, including sport, business, legal, and legislative strategies, as well as crisis management. This role demands a contemporary leader with exceptional media instincts, a deep network of contacts, and a proven ability to craft and amplify stories that shape the perception of the organization. The Vice President will serve as the primary spokesperson, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership, and will be instrumental in managing the company's brand presence across various platforms. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in professional or collegiate sports communications, media relations, or public affairs. The role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of college athletics, particularly football, and a passion for student-athlete storytelling and brand building. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor, a strong leader, and an innovative thinker, capable of blending traditional PR with modern, cultural storytelling. Responsibilities also include managing a team, cultivating media relationships, and collaborating with external partners to enhance the company's media coverage.
