This role plays a key part in ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality through hands‑on engineering support and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. What You’ll Do Provide day‑to‑day engineering support for production processes, ensuring safe, efficient, and repeatable operations. Develop, test, source, and evaluate tooling, machinery, and equipment to optimize manufacturing methods and control costs. Define technical specifications for fixtures, jigs, and automated systems. Prepare cost analyses, obtain vendor quotations, and negotiate pricing for equipment and tooling. Calculate labor standards, cycle times, and man‑hours for new or modified processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement in methods, materials, and layouts based on cost, capability, and quality considerations. Act as a liaison between production, maintenance, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met on time. Lead or participate in special engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with a data‑driven approach. Proficiency in CAD, Excel, and manufacturing engineering software. Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, machine design, and automation systems. Experience with air, electrical, and hydraulic systems (ability to read sequence circuits). Background in fixture and mold (die) development, including vendor management. Experience programming robots—3‑axis programming a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in automotive manufacturing or multicultural environments preferred. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
