About the Role
The Company is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Global Procurement to lead our international sourcing and supply chain initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in creating and executing sourcing strategies that not only drive cost savings but also elevate supplier performance and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality supplies across our global operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing strategic sourcing leadership initiatives
Engaging with suppliers and partners to build strong international vendor networks
Analyzing operational and financial impacts of sourcing decisions
Leading multi-disciplinary project teams toward successful outcomes
Conducting market intelligence to inform sourcing strategies
Implementing risk management practices to mitigate potential disruptions
We are looking for candidates who possess:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in sourcing, manufacturing, supplier quality, or engineering, with at least 10 years in a leadership role
A proven track record of driving effective sourcing strategies and managing global manufacturing relationships
A deep understanding of international labor regulatory standards and supplier performance frameworks
Exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
Strong financial and business acumen with a data-driven approach
Experience with ERP and procurement systems
The ability to manage multi-country teams and vendors across different time zones
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or advanced degree, along with Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications.
