Assignment Highlights Location: Lima, Ohio Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Contract Type: Locum Tenens (1099) Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital - Level II Trauma Center Annual Volume: 53,792 ED visits Acuity Level: High EMR: Epic Scheduling: 12-hour shifts | Full-time or part-time availability accepted Shift Details Physician Coverage: 53 hours/day APP Coverage: 48 hours/day Typical APP Shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday-Friday) Department Profile ED Beds: 43 Hospital Beds: 424 Fast Track: Yes Admission Rate: 23% Trauma Level: II Hospital Medicine Program: Yes Team Model: Integrated MD APC with collaborative decision-making Support Staff: Dedicated nursing team, respiratory therapy, lab, radiology, and specialty backup Candidate Requirements Degree: Master's in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies Licensure: Active Ohio license (required) Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (required) Experience: Minimum 2 years of emergency or urgent care experience preferred Board Certification: NCCPA (PA) or ANCC/AANP (NP) DEA: Active & unrestricted Skills: Proficiency in high-acuity patient management, suturing, splinting, and basic procedural skills Why This Opportunity?
