Compensation : Base Salary + Ownership Equity + Carried Interest + Performance Bonus Reports to : Founder / Managing Partner Inferno Capital Group is an established family office and private investment platform transitioning into a fully structured private equity firm. Our portfolio spans energy, renewable power, real estate, and new technology ventures. We operate with entrepreneurial agility and institutional discipline, building lasting businesses through strategic capital and operational excellence. We are seeking a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead our expansion and formal registration process, using their professional licensing and regulatory experience to position the firm for SEC compliance and fund management operations. This is a foundational leadership role with direct equity participation and long-term ownership incentives. Key Responsibilities

Spearhead the firms evolution from a family office model to a registered private equity firm. Oversee investment strategy, fund creation, and portfolio management across multiple industries. Use active investment advisory licensing (Series 65, 7, 63, or RIA registration) to establish and maintain compliance standards with the SEC and Texas State Securities Board. Structure and manage private investment vehicles, SPVs, and limited partnerships. Lead due diligence, financial modeling, and deal structuring for acquisitions and growth capital investments. Coordinate with legal counsel, auditors, and regulatory agencies on filings and compliance documentation (Form D, Form ADV, etc.). Develop and manage investor relations and reporting, including quarterly performance reviews and risk analysis. Build and mentor an internal investment team capable of scaling fund operations. Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or institutional asset management. Active or eligible Series 65, Series 7/63, or Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) credentials required. Demonstrated experience in fund formation, capital raising, and SEC/state compliance. Proven success leading investment teams and managing diversified portfolios. Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred). Exceptional understanding of deal structuring, valuation, and fiduciary responsibility. Preferred Attributes
