Unload all incoming trucks and rail cars, receive and process paperwork, ensuring materials are the correct type. Collaborate with production team to upgrade or downgrade materials as appropriate. Inspect, analyze, verify, and sticker all incoming scrap, according to industry standards and with the use of a handheld spectrograph. Store scrap in appropriate locations with the use of various types of mobile equipment. Load outbound finished goods, using an RF scanner to communicate with the logistics team for finished goods to be shipped to external customers. Pull and stage dross trailers with a semi-truck for trailers to be picked up by external vendors and processed for usable metal. Report deviations, discrepancies, or non-conforming material to make appropriate corrections or adjustments to pricing or purchase orders. Desired Experience

At least one year of light industrial warehousing work in a fast-paced environment. Experience safely operating various types of mobile equipment such as forklift, skid loader, pay loader, and semi tractor/trailer. Prior rail spur experience strongly preferred. Skills and Abilities

Basic math Basic computer data entry skills Good communication skills Good attention to detail Stable work history, with reliable attendance

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Exposed to outside conditions year-round; work is performed in inclement weather on a regular basis unless it presents a safety risk. Requires frequent lifting up to fifty pounds; Frequently uses forklift/mobile equipment and/or semi-tractor/trailer. Physical demands include frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing over four feet and walking.

Pay:

$26.42/hour, with comprehensive benefits package.
