Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona (Arizona Registered Nurse jobs)

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required

Previous travel nursing experience required

Ability to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units

Experience with cardiac and respiratory conditions: STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, EXLIF

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Required documentation: Resume, candidate self-assessment, skills checklist

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a dynamic healthcare environment

Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac and respiratory diagnoses

Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform cardiac monitoring

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed

Document patient care accurately using Medhost EHR

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
