The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled CNC Programmer to support our metal fabrication operations. This role focuses on programming and optimizing flat and structural metal cutting using advanced laser and plasma cutting equipment, including the BLM LT14, CutLite 20KW, and XPR300 plasma torch on a Messer cutting table.
Core Responsibilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Program flat and structural metal parts for the BLM LT14, CutLite 20KW, and XPR300 plasma torch. Learn and understand the capabilities of each cutting system, including gas selection and optimal cutting parameters. Prepare and manage DXF and other cut files using AutoCAD and Inventor. Layout and define press brake locations for formed components. Support sheet management and remnant tracking to ensure efficient material usage. Optimize nesting and sheet layouts for minimal waste and maximum productivity. Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate part production. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to continuously improve cutting processes.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of CNC programming experience Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor required Experience SAP, ProNest, OmniWin, or Ar-Tube is a plus Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing processes and technologies. Prior experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.

The estimated pay range for this position is $30/hr. to $35/hr. . Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
