We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Generative AI and hands-on expertise in GitHub Copilot.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software development and a proven track record of designing and implementing complex applications.
This role involves leading projects that integrate Generative AI technologies to enhance software solutions and development efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications incorporating Generative AI solutions.
Utilize GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve code quality; mentor team members on best practices.
Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate AI models and algorithms into applications.
Architect and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs based on business requirements.
Ensure application performance, security, and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.
Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in AI and software development.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience as a Java Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Extensive experience with Generative AI concepts, frameworks, and applications. Proficiency in using GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools. Deep understanding of Java technologies including Spring Framework and Hibernate. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their AI services. Experience with database design and management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship abilities. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
