We're looking for a dynamic and technically fluent Manager to lead a high-performing team of software engineers and architects. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our product development by mentoring talent, allocating resources strategically, and advancing cutting-edge technologies - including AI-driven solutions.
As a hands-on leader, you'll guide technical direction, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and ensure our solutions remain competitive and impactful in the market.
Job Description and Requirements Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and/or architects across multiple product areas.
Drive development of
existing
applications, including
new
platform
s
where
majority
of the work is AI-driven.
Allocate and
validate
engineering resources based on Scrum team needs and business priorities.
Actively
participate
in the engineering process, contributing to software design, development, and integration.
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
Promote domain knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the team.
Provide technical leadership and serve as a technology advisor to the business.
Represent direct reports in discussions about career growth, assignments, and opportunities.
Stay current with software technology trends and ensure our solutions
remain
marketable and competitive.
Support organizational initiatives, including process improvements and special projects.
May occasionally handle Level II technical support calls after hours.
Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven ability to
hire
,
lead
and grow high-performing engineering teams.
Strong understanding of
software
engineering principles
and experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor) into development workflows.
Experience with SaaS or
other
enterprise software development.
Familiarity with data
modeling
,
ingestion
and
transformation
.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with government-facing applications
within
FedRamp
compliance
.
Background in legal tech or eDiscovery.
Exposure to
strategic thinking and planning
Passionate
about
building
applications with
intuitive
user experience
.
Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between
following values: $155,000 and $233,000
The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
