to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in preparing delicious and nutritious meals that meet the highest standards of taste and safety. Position Details
Schedule:
Part Time- 3p-7:30p Key Responsibilities
As a Cook, your responsibilities will include: Preparing all served food with attention to taste, presentation, and nutritional value. Planning food production to align with scheduled meal serving hours. Memorizing, recording, and understanding menu items, plate appearances, and portion sizes. Following standard recipes and adhering to special dietary orders. Operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Ensuring compliance with all sanitation and food production codes. Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances to uphold cleanliness standards. Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with: High school education or equivalent. At least one (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or similar medical setting (preferred). Culinary school training (preferred).
