Facilities Manager Location : Washington DC (on site) Work schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm $126,550 +10% bonus OVERALL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES You'll manage daily operations at assigned sites while based full-time at the client location in Washington DC. Key aspects include: Serving as primary client contact

Implementing and maintaining building procedures

Managing facilities services, procurement, budgets, contractors, HSEQ, projects, and staff

Supporting high-profile properties in Washington DC, New York, Ottawa, Honolulu, Mexico, and leased sites in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Port of Spain

Some travel required within the Americas region and potentially overseas

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Client & Stakeholder Management Communicate with Department staff, contractors, and service providers

Address work order requests

Coordinate work schedules around client downtime windows

Deliver exceptional customer service

Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Property & Facilities Management Lead staff and contractors across North American sites

Monitor vendor performance and track work order completion

Prioritize and schedule maintenance work

Manage maintenance contracts and warranty obligations

Apply standard processes and support vendor procurement

Conduct property inspections and assist with audits

Cover for Senior Facilities Manager when needed

Project Management Support minor capital works delivery

Work with procurement on vendor selection

Financial Management Develop and manage operating and capital budgets

Process purchase orders and receipts promptly

Identify cost savings opportunities

Support financial reporting and compliance

Help develop multi-year improvement plans

Health & Safety Management Ensure compliance with JLL, client, and legal requirements

Verify vendor safety documentation

Maintain safety procedures and incident reporting

Support risk management programs and audits

Review contractor safety methods

General Duties Conduct regular site inspections

Improve operational efficiencies

Implement best practices

Maintain facility management systems

Meet performance targets

Escort visitors when required

Ensure security protocols are followed

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Ideal Candidate Profile Required Qualifications

Degree in engineering, facilities, or property management Experience in client-facing facilities management, especially in public sector Technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, chillers, fire protection, electrical, BMS) Vendor management experience for specialized services Strong budget and procurement management skills Experience with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office HSEQ compliance knowledge Desired Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience with JLL systems (Corrigo, CMO, UniForm) Facilities team management experience Key Competencies
