Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with system engineers, software developers, and architects to implement solutions within the Aviation Software platforms. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques. Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology of choice. Build features such as web UI, web services, and APIs. Understand performance parameters and assess application performance. Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using the language of choice. Ensure software solutions comply with industry security standards and best practices. Education Qualification For roles in USA: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM majors with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Desired Technical Expertise: Experience with languages/technologies such as Windows, C#, and Javascript. Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React, Vue, SolidJS. Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps. Experience with relational or cloud-native databases. Awareness of and ability to apply CI/CD concepts. General understanding of the impacts of technology choices on the software development life cycle. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Jest, or NUnit. Business Acumen: Understand the technology landscape, stay updated on current trends, and bring new ideas to the team. Show understanding of the project's value proposition for the customer and a commitment to delivering the best value. Learn the organization's vision and decision-making framework, and understand how personal and team goals contribute to it. Personal/Leadership Attributes: Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality. Complete tasks on time with high quality, taking responsibility for deliverables. Break down problems and estimate development time accurately. Understand problems thoroughly before implementing solutions, asking questions for clarification. Seek opportunities for innovation and experiment with new frameworks. Adapt to new environments and changing requirements quickly. Express opinions clearly, supported by data or evidence.
