We're currently looking for a Part Time Nanny in Chevy Chase, MD 20815

A kind and organized family in Chevy Chase is seeking a reliable, communicative part time nanny for their three boys, ages 8 years, 10 years, and 13 years old, beginning Monday, August 18th. Care is needed after school Monday-Friday from 3pm-7pm on a long-term basis (minimum of one year). The boys are busy with a mix of school activities, tutors, sports, and social engagements. The 8 year old is very energetic and enjoys making people laugh, the 10 year old is very thoughtful, sweet, and enjoys reading, and the 13 year old is very independent. The family is looking for a proactive nanny who is supportive and warm, yet able to maintain structure when needed. Start date:

Monday-Friday, 3pm-7pm Compensation:

$28-$30 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities: Children's laundry (1 load per day - fold + put away) Drive children to and from after-school activities (gas reimbursement provided; some carpooling involved) Prepare snacks/dinner; empty and clean lunch boxes Maintain and follow the family's organized after-school schedule Light tidying and household upkeep related to the children Homework help for youngest child

Requirements: Must have 2 years of childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting CPR certified, or willingness to become certified Legally authorized to work in the U.S. High school diploma or equivalent Able to provide 2 childcare-related references Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and valid auto insurance Reliable vehicle to transport children Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check

Compensation + Benefits:

This position pays $28-$30 per hour, and the family is looking for 16 hours of care per week. Federal holidays off (unpaid) 2-4 weeks off annually (unpaid); family may offer pay during this time for additional household support if needed
