The Ponce De Leon Center is one of the largest, most comprehensive facilities dedicated to the treatment of advanced HIV/AIDS in the United States. Founded in 1986, the Ponce Center and its onsite affiliates provide various medical and support services to approximately 5000 eligible men, women, adolescents, and children living with HIV/AIDS.
The Ponce Center integrates primary internal medicine and Infectious Disease subspecialty care in the Main, Family, and Transition Clinics. Staffed by doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, nurses, and more than 100 interagency staff. Our care teams seamlessly provide onsite medical, support, and community services.
As a Director of Practice Operations, responsibilities include planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating, and controlling the operations of all assigned practices. The Practice Operations Director works collaboratively with practice physicians to ensuretheefficientandeffectivedailyoperationofthepracticeincluding,butnotlimitedto,thesupervisionandevaluationof the practice staff and all practice operations, budget management and financial oversight and review, and business process analysis and redesign when warranted.

Supervise and advise the managers/supervisors at assigned practices and support them in managing the
practice.

Analyzing access (lead time) and patient throughput (cycle time) and provider/schedule
utilization.

Partner with nurse leader and Medical Director including regular
meetings.

Optimizeprovidertemplates. Financial Viability

Responsible for the financial viability of Grady practices as
assigned.

Monitoring progress against
budget.

Requesting and implementing capital
expenditures.

Planningandmanagingoperatingbudgetonapracticebypracticelevel. Customer Service

Understanding and improving customer satisfaction, productivity analysis and efficiency
studies.

EnsureserviceexcellencegoalsandneedsareaddressedPhysician. Physician and Staff Engagement

Support clinical and office staff in upholding clinical and administrative quality in
practice.
- Facilitate monthly provider meetings within assigned practices alongside the Medical
Director.

Ensureprovidersatassignedpracticesunderstandtheirobligations:asspecifiedbytheiragreementswithGradyin compliance with Grady policies and procedures in support of Grady's goals.

ServeaspartnertoMedicalDirector/Service/SectionChief,physicians,andprovidersinassignedpracticesandliaison between physicians and Administration.
