Senior Software Integration Engineer (SIE-4) , your work will directly support national security initiatives by ensuring the seamless deployment and performance of advanced COTS and GOTS software systems. If you enjoy building, automating, and optimizing systems in a fast-paced, technically diverse environment—this is your opportunity to make an impact where it matters most. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

Integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software across heterogeneous environments.

Executing and maintaining automated integration and testing processes across HPC operating environments.

Writing and maintaining playbooks and shell/Python scripts for deployment and configuration automation.

Developing and maintaining system and integration documentation.

Executing performance, failover, redundancy, and functional tests to validate system reliability.

Troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware and software issues across the software stack.

Collaborating with software developers, system administrators, QA, and other technical stakeholders to coordinate integration efforts.

Leveraging infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CI/CD principles for automated deployments.

Managing version control and issue tracking using Git and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet government clearance requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

and

at least 10 years of software integration experience

OR

5 years of directly related full-time CS work plus 10 years of experience

OR

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for 2 years of experience

OR

Industry-recognized certifications may substitute for up to 1 year of experience

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in

Linux CLI , Linux tools, and

Bash scripting

Recent programming experience with

Python

Hands-on experience with

test automation frameworks

and development

Expertise in troubleshooting across

full software stack

Experience with

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

using tools such as

Ansible

Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines

and tools such as

GitLab CI

Proficient in using

Git

for version control

Experience tracking and reporting issues during integration

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with the

Atlassian Tool Suite

(JIRA, Confluence)

Understanding of

Agile software development

principles and best practices

Exposure to system characterization techniques and high-performance computing environments

This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven team, solve hard integration problems, and contribute directly to systems supporting national defense. Compensation Range: $187,000.00 - $247,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
