The

Marketing & Fundraising Events Coordinator

will be responsible for planning and executing community-based events designed to build awareness, generate support, and raise funds for important local initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on organizer with a passion for social impact, who thrives in live environments and enjoys working face-to-face with the public. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute in-person marketing and fundraising events across the Bay Area, including tabling events, donor drives, community festivals, and awareness campaigns

Represent the organization and its partners to the public with professionalism, enthusiasm, and clarity

Engage attendees through meaningful one-on-one conversations, donation appeals, and awareness-building tools

Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to promote events and maximize turnout

Track attendee engagement, donations, and event outcomes to inform future planning

Qualifications

Strong people skills with the ability to connect across diverse audiences

Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure in live settings

Passion for social justice, nonprofit missions, and community-based work
