We aim to provide deep knowledge across all specialties, including transplantation, stem cell therapy, congenital heart disease, women's heart health, valve disorders, arrhythmia and hypertension.Summary of Essential Duties: Performs EKGs correctly and with no errors Enters all patient data accurately into EKG machines and computer systemPrepares procedure/ exam room and equipment for procedures Explains test procedure to patient. Prepares patient for procedure and monitors vital signsPrepares patient in hook-up of event monitors and receives telemetry data by phoneIndependently performs late potentialsHook-up holter monitor and scans holter data for physician's interpretationHook up and perform T-wave alternans exercise procedureConnect and download blood pressure monitoring equipmentCleans, tests and maintains equipmentResponds to requests in a timely manner, establishing appropriate priorities for STAT requestsCertificates/Security Clearances/OtherAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED requiredGraduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technician program preferredLicense/Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross requiredCertification as a Cardiovascular Technician required or willing to obtain within 3 months from start dateExperience: A minimum of 1 year of Cardiovascular Tech experience in a Medical Center setting preferredMinimum Salary27.10Maximum Salary42.01
